The New York Times of November 4, 1937 states that Nos. 166 to 160 Seventh Ave. and Nos. 202 to 206 West 20th Street will be demolished and replaced by a 14-story apartment house. These buildings appear on the right of Nos. 1 and 2 and form the S.W. corner of Seventh Ave. and West 20th Street.
