Manhattan: West Broadway - Chambers Street

West Broadway, east side, at Chambers Street, and showing the Cosmopolitan Hotel (the N.E. corner), across the Sixth Ave. Elevated Line. Prominent building shown, is the Woolworth Tower. December 25, 1936. P. L. Sperr. This hotel is about 80 years old, and was the rendezvous of politicians, judges and lawyers. Its owner for many years was the late Joseph M. Weintraub.
