Brooklyn: Kings Highway - Clarendon Road

(1) Kings Highway, at the S.E. corner of Clarendon Road, just south of Canarsie Lane, showing the J. C. Vanderveer House, owned by the C. Vanderveer Estate in 1860. John Vanderveer operated a grocery here about 1864. In 1900 it was Will Mathews house. It was partly burned about 1921, and demolished in May 1925. 1923. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
