Manhattan: Broadway - 185th Street (West)

Broadway (thoroughfare in center) north from about West 185th Street (right) and showing in the center St. Elizabeth R.C. Church at what is now the N.T. corner of West 187th Street, same not being out..through at this date. The photographer is viewing northeastward from what he calls "Death Gap", the present location being Bennett Ave., at 183rd Street. Bennett Ave. today parallels Broadway and would run through the center of this view. 1904. Brown Brothers.
