Exterior (Marginal) Street, east side, south from the foot of East 19th to 18th Street's, showing the waters edge of this thoroughfare. The new East River Drive is to include this and year around the buildings shown on made land. Temporary structures seen are to be razed. The utilitarian building on the right is the garage, storage, and workshop of the City's Motor Transport. This is on Avenue C, a thoroughfare that continues from this south from East 18th Street.
