(1) Bowery, east side, north from East Houston Street. The view shows an empty lot at the N.E. corner. (A relic of the subway construction on East Houston Street, for a branch line of the Municipal Eighth Ave., Subway) utilized for a parking space. The stair approach to the East Houston Street Station of the Third Ave., Elevated is shown on the left.
