Brooklyn: Fulton Street - Cranberry Street

180-182 Fulton Street, west side, between Cranberry and Orange Streets. The Brooklyn Museum, a theatre, was opened in the central building, in 1850, but it was a failure. Washington Council No. 1, order of United American Mechanics opened its lodge rooms in the Cary Building, at the left, May 15, 1849. These buildings were demolished after considerable damage by fire in 1923. About 1896. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
