A general view, north from the Municipal Building, which is located at the S.E. corner of Joralemon and Court Streets, showing in the left foreground the Eagle Building, located at the S.E. corner of Johnson and Washington Streets. In the background is the East River, and the Williamsburg Bridge. Looking northward from the center of the view is City Park, the Sperry Buildings, the U.S. Navy Yard (in which is a lifting crane that looks like a building under construction), and beyond, to the right, is the Wallabout Channel.
