Manhattan: Christopher Street - 4th Street (West)

85 to 75 Christopher Street, north side, west of and towards upper West 4th Street and Seventh Avenue South. No. 81 is St. John's Evangelical Lutheran (German) Church, which was established here around the time of the Civil War; but the church edifice itself was probably inherited from St. Mathew's Protestant Episcopal Church, which stood on the same site.
