Manhattan: Lafayette Street - Duane Street

Lafayette Street, north from Duane Street (where tracks are seen), to and including Leonard Street, showing the New York Edison Co. plant and office building on the west side of the street extending from Duane to Pearl Streets. Also shown are Nos. 520 to 514 Pearl Street (right foreground), east from and including Lafayette, to but not including Centre Streets. These houses and those extending on the east side of Lafayette north to Worth Street were later demolished to make way for a small park. In the centre background is visible part of the New York Life Insurance Co. Building (with clock-tower) occupying the block from Catherine Lane to Leonard Street. December 1925. Brown Brothers.
