Queens: Grand Avenue - 79th Street

Grand Avenue, north side, west from 79th Street. The house seen in the foreground was a part of Washington Park. It does not appear in the 1929 Queens Atlas. The New York connecting railroad extends through the site. The building in the background which was used as a dance hall is now occupied by Henry Klein and Co. Inc. July 1923. Eugene L.
