Feast of St. Anthony of Padua, 1924, No. 1. The tower at the start of the procession, 106th Street, east of First Avenue. This year the figure surmounting it is an allegorical representation of Peace, bearing a lily in her right hand. The six-story tenement house behind and to the right of the statue is 402 East 106th Street, on the south side. This year the feast was held on Labor Day. September 1, 1924. P. L. Sperr. No. 2. A closer view of the front of the tower as it is borne west across First Avenue by the procession. The view is southeast. September 1, 1924. P. L. Sperr. No. 3.
