Brooklyn: Surf Ave. - Stillwell Ave.

(1) Surf Ave., south side, between Stillwell Ave., and Stratton Henderson Walk. Stratton Walk which ran north and southward, parallel to Henderson's Restaurant, is now (1929) Stillwell Ave. This view shows a portion of the Henderson Restaurant site being utilized for the widening and opening of Stillwell Ave. The building at the right, was Shafer's Hotel in 1883.
