Bronx: 165th Street (East) - Westchester Avenue
East 165th Street, from Westchester Ave. to Whitlock Ave. (where elevated trestle of the I.R.T. Pelham Bay Park subway line is visible). East of Whitlock Ave., across the Bronx River, appears the vast undeveloped area extending southeast to Clason's Point, known as the salt meadows. On the extreme left is Westchester Ave., running north from East 165th Street. The point of vantage is the 8-story building at the S.W. corner of Hoe Ave. and East 165th Street. May 1926
