Manhattan: Wall Street - Nassau Street

Wall Street, at the N.W. corner of Nassau Street, showing under demolition at that location, the Gillenden Building. This was replaced by the 32 story Bankers Trust Company Building. This property is reported to have brought one of the highest prices in New York real estate dealings, $825 per square foot. The writer believes that the vantage point for the photographer is atop the former Schmerhorn Building on Broadway and that he is viewing southeastward. April 28, 1910 Gift of Albert A.
