Brooklyn: Hicks Street - Orange Street

Hicks Street, at the N.W. corner of Orange Street, showing a house razed in 1886. It is said that Joel Bunce, the first Postmaster of Brooklyn, (about 1819) occupied it. It was also occupied for some years by the artist Thomas Nast. About 1886. Eugene L. Armbruster collection.
