Queens: Jamaica Avenue - 169th Street

Jamaica Ave., north side, east from 169th Street, showing in a set of two views in the foreground the home of G. Sayres in 1873; beyond it is that of Geo. Dawson. A private Sanitarium occupied the house in the foreground in 1913. It was demolished in August 1925. On the site now are a group of taxpayers. May 1923. View 2: April 1925. Eugene L.
