Manhattan: 48th Street (West) - 7th Avenue

West 48th Street, north side, east from (No. 163, left) Seventh Ave., showing, the 48th Street Theatre occupying Nos. 159-155. Extending east of same, is a row of 4-story buildings that bear Nos. 153 to 147. The Playhouse is at Nos. 145-137. Adjoining the latter is the 13-story Hotel Bristol, No. 135-129. On the right of set two appears the Sixth Ave. Elevated. These four pictures comprise two sets, of a negative and a positive. 1935. W.P.A. Photo.
