174 to 162 Attorney Street (left to right), at, adjoining and south of the S.E. corner of East Houston Street (extreme left and not shown). The photographer is viewing towards the same, from a point midway between this, and Stanton Street. No. 164 has nearly been destroyed by fire and 14 lives were lost.
