Manhattan: Canal Street - Thompson Street

(1) Canal Street, north side, west from Thompson Street and Sixth Avenue Extension. All the buildings from Thompson to Sullivan Streets have been demolished, and the west side of Sullivan Street, from Canal to Grand Streets, will form the west side of this part of Sixth Avenue. The eight-story Peter Frasse & Company building stands at the N.W. corner of Canal and Sullivan Streets. The ten-story Powell Chocolate factory, on the N.E. corner, has just been demolished.
