Bronx: Westchester Avenue - Boynton Avenue

Westchester Avenue (foreground), north side, from Boynton Avenue (right) to Wheeler Avenue, showing part 2 of a panoramic view of the Watson estate. On the right, in front of which Boynton Avenue was later laid out, is the sumptuous Watson Mansion. The estate is being leveled out for the laying of public thoroughfares and future residential development. The dirt road on the left is the former Watsons Lane, which led up past the mansion toward West Farms Road. It later became Wheeler Avenue. This is mount 2B and shows the same section of the estate seen on mount 2A, taken several months later. About 1910
