1-47 West 22nd Street, adjoining N.W. corner of Fifth Ave. The gap between buildings marks a vacant lot, 37-45 West 22nd Street. No. 5 West 22nd Street, site of home of Samuel F.B. Morse—Tablet on present building reads: "In this house Samuel F.B. Morse lived for many years and died. This tablet removed from building formerly on this site and replaced A.D. 1900."
