Manhattan: Broadway - 40th Street (West)

1432, 1426 and 1424 Broadway, at adjoining and south of the S.E. corner of West 40th Street, showing the Empire Theatre at No. 1426. This enterprise opened January 25, 1893. Adjacent to same is Browne's Chop House, a similar famous spot in this former theatrical district. On the left appears an extensive view eastward on the south side of 40th Street and upon which, at the rear of the Theatre is the 25-storied Worlds Tower Building. About 1918.
