Manhattan: York Avenue - 63rd Street

York Avenue (formerly Avenue A), east side, north from 63rd Street, showing the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research, on the grounds from 64th to 68th Streets, and the new New York Hospital and Cornell Medical College, beginning at 68th Street where Jones' Wood Coliseum and Washington Park used to be prior to 1890. The Rockefeller Center dedicated its first building, the one in the center of the group, in May 1906. The new New York Hospital is nearing completion.
