Allerton Ave. (left), east from White Plains Road. The extensive property on both sides of the avenue extending east to Boston Road (signs thereon) is the former L.H. Mace Estate, which in 1913 belonged to the American Real Estate Company. (See Bromley's maps of 1900 and 1913.)
