Manhattan: Park Avenue - 58th Street

(1) Park Avenue, east side, from 58th to 59th Streets, seen from across the clearing on the N.W. corner of 58th Street where a twenty-story apartment building will be erected. 485 Park Avenue, built about 1923, replaced two small garages on the N.E. corner of 58th Street. Beyond it on 58th Street may be seen the façade of old Liederkranz Hall, from which the cheese derived its name. July 3, 1928. P. L. Sperr.
