Manhattan: 35th Street (West) - 9th Avenue

West 35th Street, north side, west of 9th Ave., showing tenements. Through the center of this block will be cut a swath providing for the entrance causeway to the Lincoln Tunnel. This new thoroughfare will be known as Dyer Avenue and will be approximately midway between 9th and 10th Aves. The buildings to be demolished for same are in the foreground of the larger view, extending equidistant from the two low structures in the direct center. The smaller photo is taken from a point closer to 9th Ave. Note the two story frame building, No. 407, that adjoins the partially shown structure at the N.W. corner of the Avenue View 1: August 30, 1934 P.L.
