Brooklyn: 18th Avenue - 82nd Street

(1) 8024-8200 Eighteenth Ave., west side, north of 82nd Street, showing from left to right Nos. 8200, 8112, and 8024. The house, No. 8024, was (in 1873) the home of Mrs. Wardell. It was at the N.W. corner of 81st Street. Now (1929) the Bensonhurst Garden Apartments occupy the site. No. 8112 was the home of the Revs. Dr. J. and H.S. Carpenter in 1860 and 1873, respectively. In 1929 a row of 2-story dwellings was on the site. No. 8200 which was the home of John C. Bennett, still stands in 1929.
