Manhattan: Mercer Street - Grand Street

15 to 27 Mercer Street, west side, south of and towards Grand Street. No. 15-17, at the left, which is not quite entirely included in the picture, is a six-story loft building, faced with iron, of a type which began to be built in the 1870's. No. 19 is a brick loft building, faced with stone, of the type built during and shortly after the Civil War, in the 1860's. Mercer Street is the first of a group of seven streets parallel to and west of Broadway. About 1915.
