Manhattan: Barrow Street - Greenwich Street

Barrow Street (foreground), north side, east from Greenwich, to Hudson Street, and including a general view of the surrounding area. In the center of the view is visible St. Luke's (P.E.) Chapel, on Hudson Street, west side, at the N.E. corner of Hudson and Grove Streets. At the right is a large 6 story apartment (erected 1926) at the N.E. corner of Barrow and Hudson Streets that replaced a dozen or so of 2 1/2 story frame dwellings. Just beyond same is the point where Commerce Street branches off, to run parallel to the eastern section of Barrow Street that was formerly Beason Street. The larger view is limited to No's. 90 to 96 Barrow Street inclusive. At the left appears a portion of the U.S. Appraisers Stores building on the far side of Greenwich Street.
