Manhattan: Grand Street - Lewis Street

Grand Street, north side, west from (No. 550), but not including Lewis Street, showing the R. Hoe & Co. plant, between Columbia and Sheriff Streets. The 3-story house (No. 550) shown on the extreme right, is a frame structure with a brick front. The Hoe plant was demolished in 1930, and replaced by a modern apartment dwelling, as a slum clearance project. April 1929. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
