Manhattan: East Broadway - Market Street

70 to 66 East Broadway, at, adjoining and west of the N.W. corner of Market Street, showing adjoining the corner, a 5-story structure, No. 68, which is supposed to have been the first place where stereoptican and shadow views were first shown. It also is reputed to have had the first public meeting rooms on this thoroughfare. In the vacant store beneath the Hall, one Elias A. Cohen conducted an Indian Herb business in 1900.
