Manhattan: Riverside Drive - 113th Street

The stone foundation of the drive as rebuilt in May 1879, with the stones laid to exactly ten inches depth, as per contract. The work shown on the right of the picture represents the condition of the old foundation of stone, which is now being reset. May 13, 1879 Deposited with NYPL by NYC Park Dept. 1931
