Bridges - Hell Gate Bridge - [Bronx - Queensborough.]

Hell Gate Bridge, showing the approach from the Bronx, spanning Ward's Island, with the Queensborough end at the right. The bridge is the rail link between the Penn. R.R. Terminal in Manhattan and the New England lines. The main span of the Bridge is 1016 ft. long and 300 ft. above high water mark. The cost of the bridge was $25,000,000. About 1930. Ewing Galloway.
