Bronx: Vyse Avenue - Freeman Avenue

Vyse Ave., about 50 feet north of Freeman Street (in the middle of the street), showing the Vyse Mansion. The G.W. Bromley map of 1893 shows the mansion to be standing in the center of the street which was then undeveloped. The house no longer appears on the map of 1900. 1893. Gift of Randall Comfort.
