11th Avenue, north from W. 37th Street. View 1 details the east side of this thoroughfare while 2 and 3 emphasize the west side. Note in the latter the metal construction shacks at the N. W. corner of 38th Street. These are being utilized by the Lincoln Tunnel excavators. The institutional appearing buildings beyond are the 6 and 7- story plants of the New York Butchers Dressed Meat Company. These occupy the 38th to 39th Street frontage.
