Manhattan: York Avenue - 67th Street

Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research, York Avenue, east side, at 67th Street. The new laboratory is nearing completion. Its south side is in line with 67th Street, which was permanently closed (about 1926) east of York Avenue. In the right foreground is shown part of the old playground which used to occupy the block from 67th to 68th Streets.
