Brooklyn: 33rd Street - 3rd Avenue

33rd Street, east from Third Avenue. The clearances on both sides of the street, extending east for about 200 feet from Third Avenue, were created by the demolition of numerous tenements. Third Avenue is being widened as part of the Belt Parkway system of highway construction. Across the roofs of the tenements (left) is the Grand Corrugated Co. paper factory. October 18, 1940 P. L.
