Queens: Queens Boulevard - 55th Road

Queens Boulevard, south side, west from near 55th Road, showing old frame houses and the First Presbyterian Church of Newtown. The first house (left) was owned by P. Rapelye, the second by G. Rapelye, and the one nearest the church by Burns, in 1873. The houses are being demolished. View 3 shows a closer view of the Burns house; view 4 is from 55th Road and shows the houses gone.
