Manhattan: Exterior Street - 23rd Street (East)

Exterior (Marginal) Street, north from East 23rd to 24th Streets. At the left is the Municipal Bath House that fronts on Avenue A. The fenced-in gravel pit at it's rear will be removed and a swimming pool constructed here. The J. J. Little & Ives Co. bookbinding plant is on 24th Street. To the right are the institutional Bellevue Hospital buildings. The General Construction Corp. yards between 24th and 25th Streets will be cleared during the constructional period of the East River Drive (1940-1). May 23, 1936 P. L. Sperr
