Queens: Metropolitan Avenue - 65th Place
Metropolitan Avenue, south side, at 65th Place (houses thereon), showing in the foreground the J.H. Faber house of 1873. According to J. Riker Junior's map of Newtown (1852) this house then was not in existence. The 2 story building adjoining the peaked roof house was also erected by him. Adjoining it is a Cemetery stone yard and office that do not appear in the 1927 Queens Atlas. The two story brick building in the background is at 6520 Metropolitan Avenue. February 1924. Eugene L.
