Queens: Colonial Avenue - Nassau Boulevard

110-14 - 110-16 Colonial Avenue, east side, south from Nassau Boulevard (to be constructed at right of house in foreground). Van Doren Street is seen in the foreground. This set of three views shows the De La Carte living quarters and Inn. of 1922. It was erected by John Heeg who kept a roadhouse. Arthur Mayer owned it in 1897. He was followed by William Gier.
