Manhattan: Haven Avenue - 175th Street

Haven Avenue, from 175th to 177th Streets. The gap between the apartment houses (built around 1924) is 176th Street. 175th Street was laid out but never cut through. There is no 174th Street. The house in the foreground is the modernized Howland farmhouse, which will be demolished about 1933. May 27, 1927. P. L. Sperr.
