Manhattan: 10th Avenue - 29th Street (West)

Tenth Avenue, north from W. 29th Street, showing "Railroad Avenue" and its pedestrian bridge at 30th Street. On the right are the milk unloading yards of the New York Central Railroad. This site was later improved with the U. S. Parcel Post Building (see view 2). In the background is the Master Printers Building at 34th Street. View 2, being later shows the new Post Office building and the elevated roadbed of the New York Central Railroad entering same. The street level has returned to civic use at this date.
