Brooklyn: Flatbush Avenue - Eastern Parkway

Flatbush Ave. (right) south of Eastern Parkway, showing prominently the $1,000,000 political football, that was to have been the Central Library of Brooklyn, but it was never completed. To the left, partially seen, is the domed structure, known as the Brooklyn Institute of Arts and Sciences. The elevated land to the left of the Library is the Mt. Prospect Reservoir.
