Manhattan: 5th Avenue - 66th Street

To those of the Seventh who made the supreme sacrifice. The 7th Regiment War Memorial at Fifth Avenue and 66th Street was unveiled tbd, the ninth anniversary of the battle of the Hindenburg line and accepted by Mayor Walker as the Regiment's gift to the City. It is dedicated to the 580 members of New York's 7th Regiment, 107th Infantry, who gave their lives in the World War. 9/29/1927 Wide World Photos
