Brooklyn: Ralph Avenue - Broadway

Ralph Ave. (man thereon), at the southwest corner of Broadway (elevated structure thereon) showing a three-story frame structure known as Cobly Hall in 1875. Church services were held here from 1875-1877 by the Trinity Baptist Church, and in 1884, by the German Presbyterian Friedess Kirche. It was subsequently known as Ridgewood Hall; Schumacher's Cafe once occupied the ground floor. June 1923 Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
