Y. P. L. on Fifth Avenue. In the background, from right to left, are the outstanding, No. 10 E. 40th Street, Chanin, and Lefcourt-National Buildings. View 2 is photographed from the Wurlitzer Building, a lower structure that is slightly east of the above vantage point. Note the new skyscrapers in this area. In the same order, they are the Lefcourt-Colonial (later No. 40 E. 41st Street), Lincoln, and Chrysler Buildings. The latter is under construction. No. 500 Fifth Ave. is in the same stage.
