Manhattan: 135th Street (West) - Willis Avenue

Riverside Park, north from West 135th Street, showing the marginal lands between same and the Hudson River. Traversing this strip are the New York Central Railroad tracks and the new elevated Henry Hudson Parkway, a feature of the vast West Side Improvement Project (q.v.). To the left is the U. S. Training Ship "Illinois". This formerly was anchored at West 98th Street and only recently was removed here.
