Queens: Union Street - 29th Avenue

Union Street, east side, at 29th Avenue, showing the Old Country Club and golf links, formerly the E.E. Mitchel property. It was at one time known as the Flushing Golf Club, view 1 showing the old buildings. View 2, which was taken years later, shows the new club, a colonial style building. The club house stands in the direct path of the proposed extension of Parsons Boulevard, just below 29th Avenue, so that the building will either have to be razed or moved for the construction of the thoroughfare.
